June 01, 2018, 11:30 am to 6:00 pm

18-GrotonRotary-cover.jpgThrough the Rotary Community Service Awards Foundation, we bring together community service agencies and the businesses and organizations that support them, formally acknowledge their amazing contributions and showcase some of the wonderful work being done in our community. The Groton Rotary Club provides grants to several community non-profit groups each year along with dispersing several thousand dollars in scholarship awards to three area High Schools and Three Rivers Community College.

The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence.

They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.
